tool, alice in chains, BOC, perhaps some joe walsh, kick it with some pink floyd or led zep, throw in some jimi and vai and your bound for a good time 
but my favorite bands are as i lay dying (not the new album) bullet for my valentine (again, new album sucks) atreyu , trivium, disturbed.... so many more
