That's a bad feeling when the board starts wobbling like that, you KNOW you're done for, lol

I did the same thing but worse. Rode down a 1/4-1/2 mile hill at NC State on the brick sidewalk, probably got to 20-25 mph (that brick is smooth, you just keep accelerating) then at the bottom a fat lady was right in the sidewalk/road transition ramp thing and I had to try to ride off the curb. Needless to say it didnt end well, I jumped off the board and tried to run it off, but running off a at least 20 mph bail just doesnt work like that. Ended up flipping and tumbling into the road for about 15 feet, all for everyone at the bus stop, the fat lady, and a passing bus to watch. surprisingly I walked away with a small abrasion hole in my pants and a slight scuff on my hip, I'd say decently lucky, considering I didn't get run over or torn up by the asphalt.

 

haha...he wasnt even doing anything special...but what can i say ive never tried to skateboard

 

eh, he's ok, lucky he didn't knock his teeth out or something (been there done that, it sucks)

he was kind of a little girl about it, "turn the camera dude, turn it off" if you gonna skate board with out a shirt man up a bit when you get rashed.

when i was a kid there was never a point in time when i didn't have some sort of road rash or a scab on me.

 

I'm lucky I survived childhood without losing a limb or being shot (we had rifles in jr. high).

 

u dont ware gear on a board..... i have been 50+ on mine. miss thoes times. got a big scare on my elbow but its kool. no shirt is just retarted.
