If the only reason you think you should go over there is because they are fellow riders then don't bother, the biker fellowship concept pretty much only lives on with the sporttouring guys and you've already decided they are squids.
If, however, your interested in just saying hi to your new neighbors and seeing if they are cool guys you might want to hang out with sometime then go for it, even if you don't want to ride wth them it's always a good policy to try to get along with the neighbors if possible.
Personally if I pull up somewhere and there's bikes there I'll prolly say hi if the riders seem like decent guys, if it was a bunch of squidbillies 2cool posing by their bikes tho I wouldn't bother.

Heh, I turn down the office squids' offer to ride with them all the time. I don't flat out say "I don't ride with squids". But it's easy to say things like "Seriously?!? You want me to cruise with y'all at 15 mph down South Street in full gear?!? Ya trying to watch me die from heat stroke?!?". Or "Sorry, my tires aren't up to keeping your pace".
