Should I introduce myself????

So a couple weeks ago I got new neighbors that moved in by me. I am not positive how many people live there but there are a lot of bikes over there all the time. However these bikes are lowered, stretched out, and mis matched fairings, etc. I see there tearing up and down my subdivision wearing no gear what so ever and making a lot of noise. They are pretty much all squids. So should I go over there and introduce myself and seeing as I am a fellow rider and sport rider at that or just steer clear because the lowered, stretched squid type is just not my scene. What would you do?

I wouldn't go over there.

Yeah you should... as a neighbor.

You never know when a neighbor might save your chit from a burglar / vandal / fire. You don't have to introduce yourself as a rider or anything. They prolly already know you ride.

Which is the other thing. Right now you might be "that stuck up a$$hole who lives next door so **** it! lets do burnouts on his lawn" ;)

Introduce yourself, but keep your opinions on the forum... lol

Not all of us stretched and lowered guys are bad!

That said, I'd stay away, hahaha.

ive worked on a few guys bikes like that, ide go say hi, never know when you could use a helping hand in some situation

they could be nice guys making stupid choices

I just wouldnt make associating with them a everyday kinda thing, a wave every now and then and a hows it going will suffice, ide still let them know you exist, and have a common interest

but wouldnt hang with them everyday

Don't force the issue, By now they probably know you have a bike (& their probably already making plans to jack it :) ) If you see one of them out the front of their place, just give a wave or if their outside the front of their place, working on their bike(s) just walk over & say hello. Neighbours can be great or total tools, so you want to ease into the situation before making up your mind. So a wave or bike conversation keeps it friendly but arms length & may stop them from trashing your place should they go on a rampage or may get you invited to a good party/rides/cheap bike bits should you decide their ok.
