so im going on a road trip tommorrow and wanted to see if ya'll have any advice for me??? Im going bout 500 miles, it'll be my first long road trip so im kinda nervous and exited at the same time,. Im wearin all my gear and even whent and bought some riding pants......but if you have anything to add it will be appreciated....

Make sure your wearing clean undies.....Just make sure you pack all the things that you might need, then halve it, cos you take only wot you really need. Just remember if you get caught in the rain (if its an overnighter) you might like to have something dry to change into (especially socks, trust me on that one) something warm in case its cold, and something to put the warm stuff in, in case its not. Make sure you have enough money for the trip. map the route, work out where things like bike shops, servo's & the like are. make sure your Mobile (cell) phone is charged. If your going alone, tell those that need to know, which way your going. If you deviate from that way, let em know. Don't stay at any Motels that use the name "Bates" & most of all, have fun, BE WARNED, long hauls are addictive.
