Default Repairing dents in the fairings?

I'm just curious as to what would be the best way to remove dents in the lower fairings. I'm guessing the exhaust heated up the plastic and when the previous owner dropped the bike, it landed on some rocks which pushed the plastic in causing the dents. Only two ways I can think of right now is to heat the area back up with a heatgun and try to push the dent out the best I can then fill the rest in with an epoxy, or just use an epoxy to fill in the dent how it is. Thanks for the help.

I would just try filling it in with plastic weld/epoxy. Ever try to flatten out a crumpled piece of paper? I think you would end up with similar results trying to reshape it.

we use panel bond in our body shop for similar repairs for plastic bumpers. you should be able to get some at just about any auto parts store. just put it on wait for it to dry and sand it down. as long as you prep it good it should hold just fine.

There is a company called Rage that designed a product for plastics repairs. I works just like bond except this stuff is made to be flexible unlike bond. I used it many times repairing bumpers, fairings and plastic cars parts. All you would have to do is sand the spots with 180 grit sand paper and wipe the damaged areas. Let it dry and sand to you get the shape you desire.
