Default Rear View Mirror

In a helmet?

Seen lots of posts warning about the dangers of getting rear ended at the lights. This should help =P

Sorry if it is a double post.

That's pretty sweet.

I keep dreaming of putting a rear-view camera in my tail and a display up by my cluster. Just a matter of $$$ and water-proofing it.

That's cool as hell. Never seen it before, either.

kowen, I was thinking the same thing with the rearview cam. Not sure where to put the display, but a solid idea.

I wonder how well ballanced the added weight is?

I think its a good idea, and innovation is always good. I just didnt like how they misled the diagrahms of the comparision between mirrors and thier vision system. The rear veiw mirrors don't only allow you to see on the sides with a narrow vision. Mirrors are designed to show full field of view behind you. Even notice how if a car is more than say 10 feet behind you, the entire car is visible from either mirror? Each mirror will actually allow you to see on the opposite side of your body. the only downfall of course is the objects have to be a certain distance behind. The vision system would show you whats directly behind you.

not dissing the product, but it is misleading trying to make exsisting mirrors look worse than they are.

Does it have like "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" ?

Interesting all the same
