Rear View Mirror repairable?

Rear View Mirror repairable?
I crashed my bike on the twisties recently. My ego took a huge blow , and the bike suffered cosmetic damages. I'm going to plastic weld the cracked fairings, but the two broken rear view mirror i have no clue what to do, so i need your expert advice.
Judging from the photos, does anyone had experience repairing this type of dmg?
I don't know what material the stalk is made of, so i don't know if epoxy will work or not.
If it's not repairable, what after-market rear-view mirror should i get? (i know the that OEM is better, but it's $85/ea. And i can't afford it right now.
Thank you
Have a nice day

Thats not repairable, JB weld might seem to work but after the stresses of riding it will probably fall off at some point.
OEM mirrors are a not hard to find and relatively cheap (average $30 for a set on ebay) and after markets are even cheaper and you might find a better style.
Check into the integrated turn signal option too easy to do and looks much better IMO
You can always check the "parts for sale" section on this forum as well.
good luck getting back on the road.

From the pictures that looks like aluminum (and IIRC, I think my stock ones have an aluminum stalk). If you know someone who can weld aluminum, just strip the paint, have them weld it back together, and then shoot some black paint on it. It would save the $30 for a new set. Plus it would only take a good welder about 5 minutes to fix. Even if you had to pay a shop to weld it, I doubt they would charge you more than about $5-$10. But it depends on if you like your stock mirrors, or would like to get new after market ones.

Thank you all the for the prompt advice. Following your advice, I managed to find an OEM set on ebay for sale. Still waiting for the plastic welding kit to arrive so i can start the repairing process. Can't wait to get back on the road!!!
Decided to go w/ OEM b/c after reading some of the threads, it seems OEM gives the best vision.
