RE: RC cars
I used to have a few nitro trucks. I had a Revo and a Jato, and both were fitted with O.S. engines. Lol, I sold them to help with a down payment on a motorcycle. I suspect I will have another RC car or truck in the future.

RE: RC cars
My buddy use to race them big time. Well he does but before he wasSemi-pro who had a good bit of sponsors. We'd get fuel for free and tires for free along with other goodies. We were good friends with the owner of Bolink before it went out of business.
The track I use to race at had a road course, oval, and dirt track. We mainly did 1/10th truck then 1/8th scale once it caught on.
I haven't ran in years and did little when I was there.
Here is some pictures from arace...

I liked 1/12 scale carpet the best. My first race I came in 2nd (Was in 1st most of the race) with a borrowed ill handling car.

RE: RC cars
I started with a RC10-T3 electric 2WD truck. That thing was sooo much fun, I would build jumps all day and somehow that truck would fly and then crash but still be ok.
Then I got sick of jumps so I got a HPI rally. That thing was cool 4WD 2-speed and I bought different springs and tiresfor it so I could turn it into a road car whenever.
I also had a MINI-Z racer when it first came out that was a ton of fun inside the house I would set up a drift track around my pool table and drift for hours.... hahaha
Lately I bought one of those air hogs helis from target.... best $20 I ever spent but I would like to get the new one for more stability.
Have you guys ever seen that video on YouTube of that guy jumping his house with a nitro R/C car, thats nuts!!!

RE: RC cars
I had a Ofna Ultra buggy, loved that damn thing. Everyone I was around had the T-max or some form of truck, so I sold my Ultra to buy a truck and stopped running them. I waited... and they never picked it back up.
This is my favorite video of RC toys.
