Default Cars vs. F3

Saw a new M5 and a Ferarri F430 on the way home from work today. It got me wondering. I know usually bikes are going to be faster than a car any day of the week. But my bike isn't exactly a new RR. I'm sure that M5 or F430 would give me a run for my money lol! So just for fun what other cars out there do you guys think could hangwith an F3? STI, Vette, E55 AMG?

Bikes are not always going to be faster than cars, there was just another thread about this subject last week... The M5 @ 500 horsepower and the F430 @ 483 would probably walk your bike on a highway race, especially since it'sa 600. Any car with 450-500+ hp will kill most bikes on highway pulls, even the 1000 class bikes. You'd be surprised how quick cars can be in a race against a bike! [&:]

^ I dont know about the 1k bikes, but otherwise i agree with ya Ice, its not really super hard to take down a 600, specially if its not an RR.

You will find that a bike will take most cars off the line with a goodridder but when you get in to the 400 + hp cars they will catch up it will take them a little time but not much.

Not sureabout the liter bikes, butI raced a BMW 650 with my f4i from about a 60mph roll and it took everything that f4i had to keep up. Not sure what the 650's are pushing for hp, but I can tell you they are a fast car. Even had problems with a couple evo's rolling around town withthe f4i.

I doubt either of the guys driving those cars would even try, most of them know where their limitations are. They have either been smoked already by a sportbike or dont have the ***** to drive their expensive *** cars the way the need to be driven.

Its not have to be a supercar as well. It happens coincidence and I ran with a bmw 7series last week down the highway and guess what the bmw was just right at the back of my tail till I gave up when its getting riskier and let him overtook me! I knew I was going really fast (I didn't see the speedo but i'm sure i was reaching above 240km/h). Anyway the 7series was nowhere if you compare the acceleration with my 900.

yes many cars can be modded to hang with bikes so its hard to say generally, but cars from the factory with around 300+hp depending on weight could "hang" with an f3.....cars with 450+ hp will walk an f3 pretty convincingly on the highway.....now from street light to street light, my money is on the bike everytime....
