I've never been one to run from the po-po, but please tell me your friend wasn't on a bike. I mean...a VAN pulling over a BIKE? That's just downright degrading.

Yes he was on a bike and no he did not run! Degrading would be being stupid enough to run!

I'm glad you guys got a kick outta the "paint" comment. I still stand by the jammer, legal or not. Not like speeding IS. TikTak I'm right about everything. The cops here ALL have lasars AND Radar, cameras, computers, shot guns, and radios mounted in their cars as standard issue (even the undercovers). They issue 2 way radios in PA? So like previously stated when you get tagged with a laser, its too late, and around here if you hit your brakes you WILL get pulled over ("you know you were speeding" is the first thing they'll say to you..."cause I saw you hit your brake") They ONLY way to avoid a ticket is to not break the law, but thats not much fun. So you have to be prepared to deal with your consequences. Keep some cash stashed away, cause the radar detector will help but it ain't 100%.

Whew, glad to see you were kidding about the paint.

I don't care that the jammer is illegal, that's not the problem. If you're using a jammer, the cop will know it because of the absurd reading he'll get. Then he'll pop you and you get a worse ticket for having a jammer. If they couldn't tell, hell yeah I'd have a full jammer set up stealth installed on my car.

One little thought to keep in mind:

You can't outrun a Motorola.

Or you can get some of that paint they used on the stealth bombers and paint your bike, then you'll be invisable.
Skooby is exactly right.

Radar detectors don't work really. They kind of work in the right circumstances.
They'll tell you you are about to get a ticket and that's all.

To be totally immune from all types of detectors you would have to coat your entire bike in the same stuff they use on the Stealth Fighter F-117 and B-2 Bomber. That would cost you more than your bike. Not to mention it's classified, so they'd have to kill you anyway.

Save the speed for the track.

This is incorrect on so many levels.

Edit.........wow I'm a retard. That's what I get for skimming something. Lol @ the Bomber technology they'd have to kill me for knowing.

I was looking for a sense of humor and found none.

It's been a long week. My sarcasm and humor sensors have been a little miscalibrated lately.

I absolutely agree. I got pulled over last night, and while the thought of running crossed my mind, I knew it was a bad idea. The cop was cool and I ended up getting a ticket for not having mirrors (I bought the bike that way, custom mirrors are in the mail at the moment).
