Racing School?
Hewo folks, I'm 19 and dream of beating that capri carachter both on the track and in the real for diss'n Honda (i have honda blood so i can care less for the reasons why he did what he did) but im far from able. I was searching for a pro racing teams and stumbled cross http://www.superbikeschool.com/. I never been to a bike school and didnt even knew they had one till yesterday. so my Q's are, has anyone ever been to one? Does it help you out? is it mostly "blah blah blah" or some actual "Vroom Vroom? involved (as in mostly class time or track time?)" And if it's a school, are there scouts there who can sign you into a moto team like how they do most other sports, given if your good enough? Answers would be appreciated.
a friend of mine is planning to attend one, not sure which one, but he said the biggest issue is that they dont let you use your own bike...you have to ride their beaters, and if you damage it extensively, YOU have to pay for the repairs....
i think you can buy insurance, but it is extra..the school that he told me about...he was REALLY fired up about it...he learned of it while at a national event at mid-america....but then he found out that he had to use a bike that wasnt his, and was so far behind the technology of his RR...i dont know if hes gonna go now..if he goes, ill let everyone know how it is..
These schools are awesome from what I hear. I saw a special on one of these schools located in Atlanta that uses GSX-R 600's and it was awesome. It's not your basic Motorcycle Safety Course. It's raw skills pushing you over the edge.
