racing fuels

Default racing fuels

does anybody run hot fuel on the street. like 100 and 101 octane unleaded stuff. sunoco, gulf, or vp, or trick. i used to desert race in az and i ran the 108 & 112 leaded fuels. i love the smell.

Don't know why you're smelling it but that 100 & 101+ is hard to get just anywhere. Most of the time, riders I know have to order it. It's good to have but hard to get. Try that "V" gasoline at Shell gas stations. For some reason, it makes my 929 run like it has 100oc+ and it burns clean.

If you want to get gas that burns hot run 87 octane, race gas and higher octanes burn at a cooler temp thats why there better for you bike, you can always run 93 or 94 and use octane booster you can get at any car shop it is alot cheaper

HA, your right it's tough to find but it is available, and i figure all the boys out west would have ample supplies and stories of melting pistons on their 2-strokes w/nitrous and trick118 or vP12, mister "it burns cooler." i like the godsmack at the homepage.
