Whoa, you stole my car! :-P Did they screw the front plate holder through your bumper as well? I wanted to kill the idiot who did that on mine. I hate front plates.

If you've got the code reader, what are the codes? I can help you troubleshoot it.
Forgot about the wheel bearing, both the rear ones on mine are on their way out.

Yeah - they screwed the front plate right through the bumper. I couldn't believe it. I tried to take it off but decided I liked the plate better than the holes in the bumper.

The code is almost always 1121. Sometimes I believe that other codes have come up but this one is consistent.

The code listing I have is P1121 - Pedal Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance. I don't have anything that says anything more specific?

That's as specific as you'll get dude.

You can start checking for vac leaks around the throttle body and giving the MAF a good clean, but X308 Jags had pretty common TB failures regarding the throttle position sensor. Check the pins on it to make sure they're not corroding or anything, make sure nothing is grounding out. Short of that, I don't think you can buy the TPS independent of the TB, but I could be wrong, so you may need to pick up a whole new TB.

I would have likely left the front plate on.......but they screwed it in CROOKED! Not once, but twice. So I have 4 holes, none of which line up with any other ones. I decided the holes weren't as noticeable as the crooked plate, and I hate front plates anyway, so off it came.
