Default Just a quick rim question?

Okay good am to you all, here's my question.....i have a 01 honda 600 f4i and on my front rim the lip of my rim is noticeably bent up. From a nasty spill. So with my rim lip like this is that something i can ride on till i get my funds up for another rim? Thanks .......

will it still hold air? i wouldn't recommend putting the bike through its paces or anything like that while on the bent rim but you could potentially take it to a shop and see if they can bend it back for possibly less than a new rim, at least that's what they did to one of my car wheels.

most front rims have dented lips...My buddy works at a bike shop and was telling me with all the pot holes we have most bikes have dents in the lip...however rims usually are still straight...all they do is take a rubber hammer and bend it back the best they can...As long as the rim itself is not flat and it will hold air it should be ok...How bad is it?
