Yes I believe I am the first one to say i want to convert my 02 split seat to an 04-05 banana seat. Dont know how to do it i figure it would be the same just *** backwards of the split convert. so if someone has seen this done befor please let me know that would be great and if you want to do the trade please let me know my bike is the yellow black and i have a scrape on the tail end

The split seat is supposedly uncomfortable i dont weigh much so doesnt bother me. I wouldnt mind buying the back seat from you if its black been looking for months lol

Its not about which feels better its about safty when i have my wife on the back. I dont want to loose her taking a nice launch at a light because shes already a good 6inch+ from her stomach to my back. But the seat is yellow. wish it were black.

I wish you had posted a couple of weeks ago. I just bought the tail of an '02 to swap my '05 over. I have the complete tail of my silver '05 including a Rumble Import undertail boxed up if you can't make a trade but I'd say there are plenty of people that'll jump on that trade for you.
