A question for my American brothers & sisters
hmmmmm heres a thought,if different states have different laws regarding, helmets, insurance, etc, how do you get on if your on a long journey passing through different states ?,,,(thanks,,,i am finding this very informative)
That's a good question.
I would assume it would be the same as concealed handgun licenses. YOU have to make sure before you cross state lines that you are following the laws of that state.
But I wonder if my Texas Motorcycle endorsement holds up in all other states since they have different requirements to get your license. ?????????

wow,,here in gb we have to do a cbt,(compulsory bike training) this takes a day, before we can even go on the road, this lasts for 2 years, after that you have to take a theory test before you can apply for your tests. Our bike test is in two parts, you can do the restricted test,on a 125cc thats a off road machine handling test,,,were you do slarloms, figure of 8,s, emergancy stops, etc,if you pass that then you can take your main road test,if you pass that you can only ride a bike thats under 33 bhp, then your restricted to this for two years, then you can ride anything,
if you want to take the test were you can ride any size bike, straight away, you have to do the same test on a 500 cc bike, but you can only do this when you over 21 years old,oh and you have to wear the proper gear,,otherwise they can refuse to test you.The law is always changing over here,,,think I am gonna emigrate to the states

A motorcycle endorsement/license is required in every state (as far as my research indicates) if you're going to ride a motorcycle on public roads.
Most states require insurance/financial responsibility...i.e. liability & uninsured motorist at the minimum.
Yes, your M endorsement is good in any other state, just as your driver's license.
