OK I also posted this on the zx10 forum but heres my question. I was supposed to get a bike June but my co -signer has a bankruptcy on his credit so they wouldn't approve us. So I got another co-signer but this one wouldn't sign for anything but a car so thats what I got. I'm only 19 and I had no credit but now my credit has started jast June. I asked the guys on zx-10r.net about my chances of getting the Kawasaki card next June if I made all of my payments on time. Next June would be a year of me amking all of my payments on time but they said that the Kawasaki card is very hard to get and I still wouln't get approved so I was wondering if the Honda card is just as hard to get? I ahve to stick with one of those bike credit cards because I will never be able to afford full coverage insurance. So are my chances any better with Honda or should I just give up?

 

Do yourself a favor. Don't buy a new bike. If you can't even afford insurance, why risk it. Make payments on your car for a year. Then go to your bank and take out a small loan for $5000. Buy yourself a good used bike and all the safety gear you need. That way you can afford insurance, the MSF class, gear, ect.

 

Takes a while to build up credit. Getting a used bike, paying it off and then upgrading sounds like a pretty good idea.

 

most shops ive been to will do anything to get you out of there on one of their bikes. the interest rate might be through the roof, but they'll sell it to you

 

if u couldnt get kawi, fat chance getting honda
