I dont get the "slide" thing going on. How much of that is the tire, and how much is the road you're on? I have 208's and have had for quite some time, Q's going on this week, but at the track, I haven't had them slide unless you get overly aggresive with the throttle too early in the corner. And by overly aggresive, i mean wide open at the apex, at full lean. The front has never moved. This is running around the track at about 18 seconds off of a full honk litre race bike lap time, with a semi pro rider. They stick pretty well as far as Im concerned. I to have experienced "sliding" on the street, but it's because it's dirty, dusty, cold, etc. Tires dont get nearly as warm at a street pace (fast as it may seem) compared to a track pace.

Yeah I know what you are saying, but I don't ride trackdays so I don't get perfect conditions to ride all of the time. I have ridden with a few guys that ride really hard on the streets with pilots and they haven't had any problems with sliding, me on the other hand I don't push it in the corners because I know the roads around are ****ty and you never know when there is going to be a bunch of gravel or when a dead animal is going to be laying there. And I have had the rear come out from under me more than I would like it to, it really ruins my confidence when I'm turning off onto a different road after I have been riding for an hour or so and the rear wants to slide out from under me, when its 80+ degrees out, as I slowly ease into the throttle in 2nd gear at 20 mph going around a corner. That really makes me want to ride hard in the corners. I was going to get the qualifiers, but everywhere I go says that they are a softer tire than the 208s and they only lasted me about 3000 miles and I have almost 4000 on them right now and its dying for me to replace it but I just haven't had the cash. I'm calling some local dealers tomorrow to see what kind of a deal they can get me on a pilot, so I will see.
