pulled over while riding

RE: pulled over while riding
Man, everytime i get pulled over 50 other cop cars always come out of nowhere and decide to stop, too. Doesnt matter if it is on the bike or in my cage. Why do they do that? It is pretty embarrassing to be ticketed in the first place, but more so when you are surrounded by 10 cop cars. Then it takes longer to get your ticket and leave because they are all grab assing around with each other like they have all the time in the world.
It's because cops are too freakin scared to actually be out patrolling and dealing with serious issues like drug deals or break-ins. They'd rather take their little control fetish and try to intimidate the person who get's pulled over for speaking. I've been pulled over like 15 times (and only have 1 ticket by the way) and every single time I get pulled over I have to get out of the car and walk around to the back and talk to the not 1, not 2, but 3 police cars who want to know why I was going 65 in a 45....

While I'm not saying that I like cops, they have a tough job to do. Just think of all the morons that cut you off, pull in front of you, fail to use their signal, etc....and you get an idea what cops have to deal with day in and day out. I've been pulled over enough times to know to treat them with respect, though I never, never admit to any wrong doing. To the question "Do you know how fast you were going?", I answer "no idea, no clue, haven't the faintest idea, I dunno.....etc, etc. Then I hand them my license, registration, insurance and sign the damn ticket!

Now if the stop was run the way you said it was, it kinda irks me a little bit. If they had video, then the officer who said you ran from him would have been close enough to see and identify you regardless. Your confession would have meant nothing if he could ID you. The decision to cite you, arrest you, or release you could have been made without a word said by you. Sounds like he caught a glimpse of the bike and maybe it could have been you. So they just tried to bluff you into saying something, its been done before and it works. I have used it. The guilty confess thinking there is a tape or evidence. Did they mirandize you? That could make using your statement tricky, but not impossible. Just sounds like a fishing expedition with a yellow bike, and they really don't know who it is.

I have an answer for that:

they didn't mirandize me. simply took my license and asked where we were coming from and going to. but i agree with what you said about looking for a yellow bike and not knowing who it is
