Default police on bikes

Well out here in los angeles there have been two cops killed in two days one on duty one off duty. The cop that was on duty was going 100 plus in the rain in a chase and lost it. The cop that was off duty was riding in my local favorite canyon speeding ran a yellow almost red light light and hit a car. I feel bad for their families but on the other hand i hate the way the damn media makes it seem ok that they can do what ever they want on a motorcycle and it is the whole worlds fault not theirs. The cop in the chase had no choice really but as we all know do not ride outside your abilities and do not ride unsafe for the weather conditions. As for the other cop it kind of makes me mad cause if it were anyone of us we would be the outlaw no experence reckless scum bag motorcyclist. There would be reports all over about how we all need safety classes and need to obey the laws and on and and on. Dont get me wrong i do feel bad for these guys and there familys allthough most of have negative feelings towards cops "well at least i do" they were doing the same thing we do and if it is ok to condem any one of us for that why are they soo differente. The one in the canyon makes me really mad though cause it was someone in law enforcement that had no experence, needed a safety class, was not paying attention, and most of all breaking the law like we all do from time to time it is going to ruin my favorite spot for me and everyone else. Now i am just waiting for all the bull**** that me and every rider is going to catch in angeles crest we are all going to pay for his mistake they are going to give us all speeding tickets, blinker tickets, exhaust, and what ever they can dream up. It is just the double standard that if fuc*ing reterted and gets me mad and knowing that that cop on hes duc 994 or or what ever that rides like a dick and kills him self dies like a hero if it were us were scum .

1st -- my sympathies to both families. No matter what the circumstances ... the families will miss their loved ones.

2nd -- go see a shrink. You have some passive-aggressive issues with authority dude

No its not like i hate athourity or cops or anything the main thing i was trying to express is the double standard if a normal dude dies on his bike he is looked at as a criminal, if it is someone in the public eye he gets pitty from the world. Wich i think is absloutly wrong i dont care if it was a cop, movie star, musician, mechanic, construction worker, burger filpper, or ditch digger everyone in their family will miss them the same and when the media reports the regular guy as some type of criminal and the public figure as something other it just upsets me. We are basiclly all the same and when there is a loss they should report it all the same or not at all. That is just my oppinon I AM NOT GLAD THIS HAPPENED TO HIM i dont want to be misunderstood i do feel very bad for his family mainly i do not agree with the way the media paints 2 completly differente pictures for the exact same circumstances.

Ohhhh, I see. I'll agree with that ... but unfortunately it's just the way things are. It doesn't bother me as much with the cops as it does with the movie stars though. I mean to be a really great actor/actress the only God given talent you need is to be able to lie to someone's face and have them believe you. For this we glorify them and let them get away with anything.

I agree, no matter what my heart goes out to them. I didn't know that bike cops go that fast. If I was on a bike there is no way I would chase somenoe through traffic at those speeds.
