I couldn't find any shop that would patch a motorcycle tire.
Probably not a good sign...

don't use a plug they're garbage, use a combination patch-plug, it is a patch with a rubber plug attached that you pull through from the inside. If done properly it will outlast the tire.... if the puncture is not straight up and down and in at an angle, or if it is not dead center on the tread, i wouldn't do it on a motorcycle- they have such a rounded profile that the patch area wont sit flat against the inside of the tire

IF you do it(I wouldn't) make sure you use an Internal plug... It gets put on from the inside

Plug it. Just don't burn off, could possibly pull it out.

Plugs aren't that bad or dangerous if there in the tread not the side wall.

^This is the only way to go^ Do it from the inside. I've used the plugs and never had a problem.

I have used a plug patch and ad no problems.I used to manage a auto shop and I would always plug patch motorcycle tires for free when they came to me.And yes good luk finding someone to fix it for you. Most places won't take the chance of getting sued for it.Don't use a plug because it can work its way out and it also destroys the steel belts when being installed.
