Me and a friend of mine went downtown (columbus, oh) the other night at 1am to take some pictures. It was cold as hell. I only took 2 shots that I liked...
1) The Santa Maria: A non-sailing replica of Christopher Columbus' largest ship during his first voyage across the Atlantic.

Broad Street, Looking westbound toward Front St.

I love the long exposure pics, like the one with the traffic lights, and the pool shot. Of course, who wouldn't also love Niquie's self portraits?
I'm still debating what kind of cam I want, whether it be an advanced or a DSLR. Any advice?

yea DSLRs are amazing if you know what your doing, people expect to just point and shoot and get nice pics. keep in mind youll need some lenses and a nice tripod. i paid 250 for my tripod but i was on top of a building with 30mph winds and thing didnt even budge. I have a nice long exposure one u guys will love ill post it once i get home
Hey Guys (and gals) - I want to add a few of my pics here too - but all of my files are HUGE and I'm not sure if photobucket allows that - what are you guys using to resize your images w/out losing quality...?
