I changed my ram from "sync" mode which had it at 800Mhz to match my 1600Mhz front bus (gives me 3.6Ghz cpu) back to 1066Mhz which is a 3:2 ratio. Played a whole level of COD WaW with no problems. Gonna run 3dmark06 and see what she does. Never had it shut off with it.

I bet it isn't the PSU.

I had the same problem

Running Fx-62, dual raptor X's, 500gig storage drive, dual dvd drives, (4) 1gb sticks of DDR2 800, dual 8800 GTS 640MB GPU's and a bunch of case fans on an antec 550 truepower 2.0 PSU

Bought a PCP&C Silencer 750, and all my problems went away. Running the fx62 at 3.01GHz, too. (stock 2.8, i know not a huge OC, but good enough and stable)

Working so far. Few 3dmark06 runs with Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz and GTX 260 at stock and up to 650/1150/1350
