PC shutting down while gaming (No not a heat problem)
Ok. Story nice and quick.
No overheating on any pc part and all fans working. Added new gtx 260 a few days ago with latest drivers. Runs at 575/999/1242 stock. I've had it up to 700/1200/1400 with no poblems for days running several benchmarks and gaming. The highest temp reading was a spike at 67C but drops quickly (stock cooler).
I've taken out the 260 and ram to re-seat them.
I can game for 5 - 10 minutes then it freezes (sound also studders) and then goes to blue screen saying windows had to shut down or it'll say something else.
I guess its only gaming cause my pc is still on while typing this.
The highest wattage I read while playing COD World at War was 381watts with stock graphics clocks.
I do have my Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz water cooled now. I've had it at 3.6Ghz air cooled for a long time with no over heating so it should be the cpu.

Strings getting stuck in the GPU....happens to me also both in windows and linux which eliminated a software problem...i have an older NVIDIA Geforce, only happens when gaming...and not always in the same amount of time....never found a way to fix it...

Driver Issues
Bad Memory (Try different chips)
Conflict (Bioshock would crap out on me when I had my drawing pad hooked up)
Not enough power or bad power supply
Make sure your temp sensors are properly attached.
Do you have problems with other games or just World at War? Perhaps your CPU crapped out.

Well its not a weak psu but its outdated now. Gonna order this corsair 850TX model. Its a new model and has a 70 amp single rail.

I'll try to snag a pic of the screen but it goes fast and doesnt say the same thing.

Dude, if you're gonna spend cash on a PSU at Newegg, they have unbelievable deals on the best vendor (I think), PC P&C FTW:
