Default Paranoid???

Any of you take a spill and take awhile to get back to being comfortable and "back in the saddle"? Reason I ask is I dumped my 06 1KRR, pretty easy spill about two weeks ago. Took a week to get all my parts, so just got back on this week and been riding every day, but something just doesn't feel right, like I just got it and am getting used to it again? Also, every little click, tick, or sound I hear seems amplified, I get this clicking right at 3K that sounds intermitent, but I swear I hear it at idle at lights, seems to go away if I lean the bike to the left though?????? Maybe I'm being stupid and worrisome cause I dumped, but anyone else have to get back into it after a mishap?

The noise could be the CCT (some Honda's are know for that). However, it could just be you too. But if it is the CCT, you'll know it! It will be a profound ticking.

As far as the comfort level goes, I went through the same thing, except I dont go all the way down, knock on wood. I was in a turn and the rear broke loose and I slid into another lane of traffic in the turn and about dumped it. Stopped and went back to see if anything was there and was a bunch of sand and gravel in the road. But for the rest of the week, I was baby turning lol. I about crapped my pants. But then, it all came back and went for it!! Good luck man, I'll come back to you.

If you don't get gun shy then you crash way too much. I feel your pain, I almost killed myself 2 1/2 years ago. I didn't ride for about3 months. The first bike I rode after my accident wasa customersGoldwing about two weeks before Christmas. I just finished putting it back together and everything sounded like it was making noise. I thought parts were falling off of it. I was a mess but I got over it.It's alrightit just takes time.

yea, i still have trouble leaning to the right (slid out on a right handed turn) and i think it just takes time...

you dont wanna worry too much about crashing though, you need to stay focused or you will crash again thinking about it
