Thumbs up

A down on his luck friend of a friend had his '99 CBR 900RR battery die on him. I put his bike on my trailer and got it home for him and then pulled my 900RR bat and gave it to him. He's back up and running. Keep the CBR's goin.

Cool Free service for SOcal

The only thing I have to give worth anything is my services. I work on my friends and family bikes and cars. They buy the special tools, if needed, parts and manual, and I do the service for them. Before my house, they wanted to charge $60 US for oil change, and $650 US for valve job. I live in SoCal, specifically highdesert, if anybody needs something: brakes, fluid flushes, anything as long as it takes less than a day to do, Ill do my best to help. I will not buy parts or special tools, so I may ask you to bring me a tool to keep up my tool collection.

You should end up with a great tool collection.

I pretty much do the same thing with my airbrushing. I charge nothing for my time, but I make them pay for the paint, sand paper, tape, stuff like that, and then I get to keep all the left overs and build my collection

I just spent 10 hours on a vehicle trying to make it run. Family with a lot of kids and no money. They gave me $60 and the jackstands the other guy used to charge then for unneeded repairs. Im either very nice or a stupid business man, I cant figure which.

Thats nice of you man. I saw an ad on clist a few months ago and a single grandma raising her grandson had her exhaust fall off and she was afraid to drive it. I went to go help and all she needed was a exhaust hanger. I bought the part and let the kid help since he was interested in learnig and only asked for her to send my supervisor an email(military epr reasons). She was super grateful and her kids tried giving me some xbox 360 games.

This is getting away from the original purpose of what the OP, Nepa_Jim, said about this thread. It is not about what you HAVE done for others, but what you ARE WILLING to give/do for others. I pay taxes so I help feed and support the people on welfare, like every other tax payer on here. Take it as you wish, rant over.....and out.

Yeah i was a little confused about how it went from what it was to people saying what theyve done....so ill try to get this back on track.

**I have a clear oem windscreen from my 05 600rr. Its fairly scratched up but for anyone that needs a new windscreen if they have a cracked or broken one or for someone that just wants one to paint to match their bike and slap it on this will work just fine.**

I think the 05-06 screens are a little different than the 03-04s though so itll probably only fit 05-06 bikes, but if youve got an 03-04 and want to try go ahead.
