I hope all the pick-up truck driving rednecks start saving their gas money so they can afford to drive to the polls in November or else it will be mayhem.
Quoted for the truth....

Personally I don't like any of the candidates... That being said I don't think any president has ever exceeding everyones expectations...

As for Clinton becoming VP... that would be just terrible... I'm convinced they'd get plenty of votes from people who wanted to be "progressive"... I fear this whole election is going (has already been??) based on race/gender wether for good or for bad... I think too many people are looking at the candidates and not the policies they support... not that the majority of voters are competent anyways.

I hope they dont run together. I am strongly against Clinton being in office. If Obama was smart he would choose her but I would rather see him run with Edwards. I feel he is a more standup and honest person than Clinton could ever think of being.

I think Reagan turned out to accomplish more than anyone thought, you know defeating the Soviet Union and all.I don't really have any thoughts on presidents too far back in history sothe other President I liked was Nixon. He did get us out of Vietnam, he tried many things to actually win it. He tried to curb inflation with a price freeze, he took us off the gold standard, he started the EPA and got the lead out of gasoline, he tried to improve fuel economies because he knew that one day we would be in this mess. There were other things too, but he was a paranoid spying crooktoo and that is how the history books will remember him. I think George Bush Junior will be thought of poorly for a while, until the next big terrorism act occurs in a major U.S. City.

But I like John McCain, he has actually went to a far away land to kill our enemies. That alone gives him my respect, it is more than the other candidate has since he has done nothing but talk his whole life and go to a Church that hates America for 20 years.

I don't like Edwards...he blinks too much. Someone comes across as untrustworthy when they do that.

I hope Obama doesn't take Clinton as the VP. Ugh.

Look at it this way, people won't vote for her because she is a woman (I won't, becuase all women are crazy bitches, except for of course my Mother). People won't vote for Barak due to race issues. It is the ugly truth about it.

A winning strategy won't allow this to happen. Barak will pick a white guy from the southern mid-west somewhere near tennesee, kentucky or another state with beautiful scenery and ties to 'simpler way of life'. This will allow the democratsto 'include people' not exclude.

When I run for office, my platform will be - if you own a smallmotorcycle(45mpg plus) and use it for 50% of your driving, you get to write your insurances for all you vehicles off your taxes. It will encourage people to have two types of vehicle. SUVS (good for GM and Ford) for hauling crapand small bikes (good for the environment, traffic and whatnot) for errands around town.
