So now I am a WYDOT MSF Ridercoach candidate.
Apparently they got about 20 applicants, invited 15 of us to come to the screening a couple weekends ago and this last weekend (25-27 APR) we had our first training session with only 6 candidates. One of us decided to quit (the only other sport bike rider) so now there are only 5. Most of the guys teaching the course and attending don't have a lot of respect for sport bikes or the people that ride them. I'm out to change their opinion. They have very demanding expectations and are very "stuck in their ways" but if they get too stupid I can always resign in protest with a flowery letter sent to WYDOT and the Governor. You will be proud to note however that I,a CBR600F2 Super Sport rider was the ONLY candidate to get a score of 0 in the riding portion of the test. You must have less than 21 to pass the BRC and 10 or less to pass the coaches test, 0 being a perfect score. [sm=thanx.gif]
I really think that more sport riders should get involved with this sort of thing. It will change the way people see us and get a lot more young talent into sport riding. I'm out to change attitudes one citizen at a time.
