Default NOT Guilty?!?!

I am not sure whether I should vomit, cry or laugh... humanity just went down a rung in my book!

Even if the 12 did believe her story about it being an accident, she should be gutted and fed to the lions for the 2 weeks of partying she did immediately following the death! Just my 2 cents...

i hear ya,

beyond a reasonable doubt doesn't mean ANY doubt. all jose baez did was use some "shocker" words, and accussed the family of some terrible things to stir the pot up a little bit. i think if everyone would have concentrated on the prosecution, an overwhelming majority of the 12 would have been convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that she was guilty of most of the charges.

i never thought they would get her on first degree pre-meditated murder... but damn, only lying to the cops... thats pathetic.

I love how that Kim Kardashian chick thinks its rediculous that this chick got off with this murder while her dad was OJ's Lawyer

But that is definitely a retarded verdict as she should get more then just lying to the police.
As she will be out in Maximum 1 year (she has done 3 years pre-trial custody, Not sure about the states but you get 2 for 1 in Canada and her Max sentence she can get is 4 years for lying to the police).

I read somewhere that she could be released later this week! I find that quite hard to swallow!

Just a followup on this to explain things a bit.

I closed this thread because the topic itself is inflammatory. A discussion of it, the judgement rendered and her punishment would like go out of control very quickly because
  • it is an extremely emotionally charged subject
  • not everyone will agree on the verdict rendered
  • the discussion would be bait for potential trolls
The staff here are volunteers. We do not have the time to watch and mod a single thread 24 / 7 for potential problems. When a subject is likely to be too divisive it is within our ability to close it before trouble starts. As it happened here.

Casey Anthony, her trial, the verdict and her guilt / innocence isn't going to be a topic open for discussion here. That's too off topic
