Went to the DMV this morning, nervous as hell, but I passed the behind the wheel test. The first time I took it, I failed like in 10secs and looked like a complete noob. thank god it's finally over. woot. I'm kinda disappointed that I didn't get my picture taken; I look kinda buff with my moto jacket. ...it's not the paddin.. i swear.

 

Did you take it on your sportbike?

I took my test on my then 600F3. What a mistake that was. I rolled up and the instructor said." are you using this bike for the test?" I said yes.. he said,, good luck.. then continued on to say that sportbikes are the hardest bikes to pass the road test with due to their high ballance and short turing radius. I passed the first time, but with only one point to spare.. But he wasnt kidding. Those tests are not designed with sportbikes in mind. An 800lbs harley would pass that test easier than a sportbike.

So if you used a sportbike.. dont feel too bad. But congrats on passing.
