CONGRAAAAAAATS Matt!!! my girl is on a '01 F4i. she still isnt the best rider out there, lol....but she makes huge progress w/ every ride. i dont like her going out on her own just yet, but here and there she likes to do just that. lately i've been working on showing her how to take turns using "lines" and "windows". i have her (trust me....at a SAFE SLOW pace) follow me down a windy back road keeping distance and following my line. so far she's doing great and said its helped her out alot.

sorry for the rant. does your girl have any experience at all yet? mine had zip, zero, nadda. she took the msf class though.

you two be safe out there, shweeeet 250!

Thanks Jay! My girl has only rode dirtbikes before, not a streetbike. I just got back from taking her to a secluded subdivision that's under construction and out of the way to teach her some things. She knew where all the controls were, how to shift, all that good stuff... She's isn't used to the weight of a streetbike compared to a dirtbike, but she did good. Got it up to second gear with the limited space we had to work with. She's going to be taking the MSF class the 22nd so hopefully by then I'll at least have the 500mile check-up done on the new bike. She did have a little scare though, her jeans kept catching the peg scrapers (is that what they're called? LoL) and gave her a little low speed wobble.

That pipe looks like a barrel of a .50 Caliber machine gun.
The bike would look really good with a smaller type gp exhaust.

It looks f00king hot! Just having the split seats now instead of the fugly banana that it's always had, makes all the difference in the world for that bike[sm=signs007.gif]

That's a hot looking bike, but that rear fendor has to go. The 08 250R is one of the best looking bike for 08 IMO.
