New Ninja250!!!
Check out my girl's first motorcycle!
I got it yesterday for $3800 out the door, 0 miles, they just took it out of the crate an hour before I got to the dealer! I talked her out of buying a '06 600RR which I would have loved to ride but I wanted her to learn like I did and upgrade when she's good and ready, not to mention that I have a better peace of mind with her on the 250.

i went to an update seminar for kawasaki just a few weeks ago and got to learn about all the changed they did for that bike. Just remember that you need to check your oil often. The motor is rather high revving and tends to burn a little oil, but the oil capacity isn't much on it and i have seen a few problems with people not checking it enough to prevent some engine damage. But they are suppose to have redesigned the piston and rings to help with that, and lower the RPM range and increase mid-range power to help you from revving the **** out of it to get going. Email me if you got any questions or wish to know more.
Thanks guys! She was like "UGH! That fender's gotta go!" lol
She wants a carbon fiber Two-Bros pipe too... My brother has an '04 250 (the one I learned on) so we're pretty familiar with the "ol two-fiddy" lol...It's a good little bike!

Matt...excellent job of getting her into the right bike! Those new Ninjas are sweet. My wife has an '05 and she wants the '08 in a bad way. We just can't afford it right now. Damn, that fender sure is out of control. Is it a shoe horn at the bottom? Beautiful looking bike...have you ridden it, yet? It is supposed to have more pep and higher end.
Awsome... congrats on your girls new bike!!! Excellent choice for a starter bike
Props to you too for encouraging her to start on the two-fiddy instead of a 600RR... wise choice.
The new two-fiddys really do look leaps and bounds better than the older ones! Sweet little bikes!
Hope she enjoys it, and good luck!
