Need for Speed: Bikes
So I was flipping through my HD channels last night and saw a show called "Need for Speed: Bikes" on the National Geographic HD channel(NGCHD). I only saw the second half which was about streamliner bikes trying to break the world speed record for a motorcycle on some salt flats. I think the first half was about today's modern street bikes. It also airs tomorrow night, I'm gonna have to catch the beginning of it.
Anyone else watch this?
P.S. There is a clip on there site from the show. It's about Jay Leno's Jet bike. http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/video/

I just wish more of it was dedicated to actual modern bikes. The entire second half was about breaking the speed record on those rocket ships they call motorcycles. I think if was entirely dedicated to modern day street bikes and racing it would have a lot more potential.
I saw it on National Geographic HD not Discovery HD. I think it was a NGCHD produced show, so I would guess it's only on that channel. I have comcast, not sure if it's offered on satellite or not.
yep I watched it, it was okay but not great
60% of the show was the salt flats thing which is fine but definitely not what I'm into
the rest was drag racing and Leno's bike
wish they would have covered some roadracing (there was a 1/4 second clip from that Spies/Schwantz Suzuki commercial at Road Atlanta, and about the same length shot of Mladin but thats about it)
