Default Need new fairings!!!!

I was riding my CBR the other day and lo and behold at 80 miles an hour my belly fairings come apart and one of them snaps three of the bolts and starts to hit me in the leg does anybody know where I can get new fairings?

Hi there,

Please take a moment and pop over to the new member area to introduce yourself to the forum.
Where are you from, how long have you been on two wheels, what bikes do you have etc.
We also love pictures.

Ebay will be your friend for second hand bits as OEM pricing will be horrendous or a replacement Chinese fairing, which will be the same cost more or less for a full kit as it will be for a lower panel A few folks have gone the Chinese route recently and stated that the quality was not bad at all (fasteners excluded in that comment)

Cheers

Default Chinese Fairings

I bought mine from Fairing Masters and it took about 4 weeks to get them with the total cost of the fairings and shipping at about $450.00 but I am pleasantly happy with what I got. fairingmaster.com

looking good and a bargain compares to OEM which would be at least that for one of the lower fairing panels!

Default Fairings

You can also check out Airtech-streamlining.com. Fiberglass also way lighter then the ABS plastic, its what the pro teams use. Downside is you will have to mount, and drill holes.

I also bought mine from https://www.fairingmaster.com/ although it took about 3 months to get (very recently). They quality is slightly below Honda OEM but for the money there is no way I could complain about it. Plus you can pretty much design your own fairings.

While fiberglass is lighter it is also more prone to cracking. Comparing it to plastic it will crack/break much easier but it can usually be repaired. And unless you're looking into saving every single ounce it really isn't worth it - at least to me.
