Default How is the coronavirus issue affecting your bikelife?

For myself, I am continuing to ride on the weekends for now but less and also extra cautiously. No pushing it or being reckless. I don't see myself catching the virus WHILE riding, but if an accident or something happens I think a hospital would be the worst place to be right now (plus taking up a bed, supplies care etc that someone else could use)
I passed by PCH this weekend and there was a huge group ride parked packed in barely a foot from ea other, everyone hugging and greeting, some dude was even shirtless. ??
It's kinda frustrating being indoors so much but on the bright side I guess it's giving me a lot of extra time to catch up on bike maintenance.
Anyone else affected at all?

The rain has been more of a problem lately. Now that the sun has come out, the bike and I need to stretch our legs. I just haven't felt like it lately....

Another few months or so, and I will be in bike mode and the car will sit.

Haven't done anything yet. Thinking of stripping her down and cleaning her thoroughly, She's also due for a new set of tires. Honestly right now is the perfect weather for riding but life kind of has me hopping right now.

The shutdown has me not planning long rides. Where to stop for coffee or a meal. I take short rides and head home, sit on the couch and drink beer. The back porch is filling up with beer bottles.

I have two batches of home brew in secondaries waiting to get kegged.

Weather is nice, traffic is low, a helmet is a face covering, and time is abundant. It's a great time to be out riding.

Frustrated English man living in Wales where we are still in lockdown. The Englanders have been released enough so you can actually get out without breaking the law. No such luck across the border.
My bike went away at the end of October for its annual hibernation and hasn’t seen the light of day since.
Not at all happy !

So what would happen if you were to ride? What if that is your only transport and you have to go get groceries... the long way around?

I've been pretty lucky with much less traffic overall... just have to keep an eye out because speed traps have increased quite a bit...
