need helps guys..
do you know any place i can find a motorcylce technician or inspector in san diego? i need them to check out the bike before i buy it... the guy who is selling it said that the bike has never been drop; however, from the look of that guy's face, i dont believe him... thank you guys
You can easily tell if its been dropped. Don't look at the guy's face, look at the bike! Look at every inch of it.
If it has newer plastics, scratches on the frame, or messed up bars/levers then its been dropped.
Even if it has been dropped it doesn't mean its not a good bike. Just make sure the frame is solid and ask for a good deal on it.

thank you... well how should i know if it had been restored or not? i am pretty much new to motorcycle. I just got my license like 2 months ago. btw i know lots of ppl around san diego buy salvage or damaged bike and restored it.... i personally doesnt not used bike and of course i hate damaged bike... i donot want to mess with it. however, i need to get a used bike because many ppl advised me to get a used bike beucase i will drop it at least once. if i am lucky enough then i wont..but i dun want to get a new one and drop it
if you have a funny feeling just move on to the next one, i know hat you mean by not wanting to deal with a damaged or poss. damaged bike because i know you just want to ride so i be t you can get on craigslist right now and look at a million ads in sd. good luck.
if you can get the bike down to the shop, Socale is right, Lee's cycle is a great shop...i just got my bike taken care of there, and its the only place in SD that i will go if i am forced to go to a dealership....the guys there are all racers and know whats up, they wont BS you either, if its not good they will tell you
