Well, I just don't feel the deal is even unless I pull a few things from my car. So, I'm gonna offer to pull some parts...if he's into that idea then I'm gonna do the deal. I'll keep the 98, paint the 06 and sell it in April-May.

If he's not into doing it that way I'm gonna pass.

Well, in a bad turn of events, my car ate it's thrust bearings...out of nowhere. I talked to the guy with the bikes though, and due to the value of my car and the fact he has spare parts, we're still going forward with the deal. I'm waiting on him to bring the bikes as I type this.

My question now is, what do I paint this 06? What are the trends for these bikes right now? I've heard so many different opinions on what honda guys like and don't like with these bikes....like "don't paint it kawasaki green with some pearl"....etc. So, should I stick with the black, white, reds? Whats really appealing, cause I want to get maximum payback when I sell this thing.

Thanks!

id go with stock as possible if i was looking to resale, thats what sold me on my bike, it was 95% stock, except for slip-on. I paid a little more but it was worth it to me.
