Default Need advice

Hey guys Im still sellin my jeep (which is the only money im going to have to buy my bike) but I need soem advice. Around here CBR's are like 3500 and up (or thats the only ones I've seen). I really really want a CBR for my first bike but dont know if I can afford one because I've seen GSXR's and R6's cheaper any input?

Which model cbr's are you looking for?

Keep in mind, they aren't a cheap and easy to find because they last longer, and people don't get rid of them! hehe [8D]

this is a tough time of year to buy bikes cuz everyone jacks up the price the second spring hits. Even damaged bikes are running high right now. From what i've seen, the CBR prices always tend to be higher than the GSXR and R6, but i've also been on both and prefer the CBR over the others, it's more comfortable and easier to ride, I would definately recomend the cbr for your first bike.

my first bike was a ninja ex 500 and once i gave that up for the cbr, i wished i had started out with the cbr because it's so much easier to ride and really doesn't take long to get used to it. i was comfortable with mine minutes into my first ride.

good points so far:

CBRs go for more for a reason - more reliable and people hang on to them longer than the other brands

VERY tough time of year for bike shopping because everyone is looking for one right about now. that doesn't mean you can't find one though - just gotta keep your eyes open.
