Default My Insurance Quotes

After my wipeout, I was worried that my rates would go up, but it's not the case. My State Farm agent said that if you're at fault in a car, the rate would go up 10%, but with bikes it's apparently not the case. So, I'm pretty happy about that. I would rather go back two weeks in time and not have it happen at all, but oh well. So anyway, my rates are the same as before and I got some new quotes:

the following are all 2006 model year quotes w/ full coverage + an additional $1000 medical coverage for me and passenger:

600cc - $265/ year
750cc - $318/ year
1000cc - $360/ year
I'm 26 with just a couple of speeding tickets and have cars on the same policy with them also

So after the $8600 estimate in parts alone for the bike they'll send out an adjuster from my agency and go from there. I'm sure labor will be an additional $2-3k at least.
State Farm is by far the best insurance co around, especially for bikes.

What state are you in? I'm the same age as you and have two tickets as well, the cheapest full coverage I found is $2500/year in California. Sate Farm can't isure me for the next 3 years due to my old DUI. Hope you get your money from insurance fast enough. Do you know yet what you'll be getting for the next ride?

My bad,I thought you totalled it...but I guess they might be fixing it? For the damage ammount and the labor cost would not it be easier to toss it and get a new one?

Oh no, it's totaled for sure. I guess they want an adjuster to go there to make sure it's not fraud or anything like that. I'm in St. Louis, Mo, don't know if state to state makes any difference or not on quotes.
Not sure what's next, possibly a 1000RR, 600RR, R1, R6, GSX-R750, Triumph 675, Honda Metropolitan lol, at least those are the top ones at the moment.

statefarm man here., anyone with a bike should check it out. from what i understand they dont write bikes by themselves must have car with them. but they also dont charge a sports bike charge which can be big bucks. straight by # of CC's who knows one call could make it possiable to start dressing your toy up
