I think he had a helmet on haha. Hard to ride in cali w/o a helmet. Again, glad you're okay. I don't know if you got what I was trying to say through the short texts so I'll explain it here.

When I was trying to get my fairings repaired, I went to an independent guy at first that I was referred to by 2 other shops. He quoted me $250 for the repairs + color match paint (bmw alpine white + blue pearls). I thought to myself $250?! Ya right! So I went ahead and repaired the fairings myself. I called him up for another quote for just the paint this time w/o the repairs but he said that he'd have to see it in person. But he was located in Fullerton and I didn't feel like driving up there again so I opted to call another shop, Super Bike Nation, who offered to come to my house and pick up my bike for free. They quoted me $200 for my fairing, but at least I didn't have to drive anywhere, plus they gave me all new hardware since I was missing a lot of hardware from the get go. So..I don't know where you'd want to have it done, but I found that those two were the cheapest out of about 7-8 shops I went to.

Here are their numbers:

SBN : 888-550-2453
Enrique : 714-356-0216
^ tell him Ruben from Motorhelmets sent you (I'm not Ruben, but he'll hook you up if you say that)
BTW, Enrique has his own shop, he's not some random garage mechanic that does work for people.

A lot of people on the forum here will probably say Woodcraft or Vortex. I just purchased some Vortex sliders and think that they are decent.

How fast were you going to get handed a ticket for that much?

I would look into someone somewhere to see if you can have your fairings repaired. Is it just one fairing or our front and side fairing that needs replacement?

Scratches aren't too bad even if they are deep. It is cracks and missing pieces that can run the tab up on getting them repaired if you can't do it yourself. Most people who don't have a whole lot of overhead will give you a reasonable price to repair the fairings by sanding them, primer'ing them, smoothing them, then painting them and finishing them off.

But if you absolutely want to buy some replacement fairings, look to your local bike salvage yards, then Ebay, then the web. There are some good website that sells some decent looking fairings if you Google search them, but the price will run up quickly, especially for your front fairing. The problem with replacement fairings is either they probably won't be color matched or in case of new replacements, they may not be painted at all and then you'll have to get them painted or paint them yourself.

Im thinking of just saving some cash and take my time on finding a cheap place to repair of cheap fairings. I might just put some stickers over the scratches haha. Some part of the fairing is cracked tho

Just run your bike naked. That's what I did until my left fairing was replaced. It actually looked like it matched because my bike is all white and the frame is black so from far away it just looked like a black/white design haha.
