However, its name changes in a few places, but its all Highway 1 & is 24000klms all up (or 14912 miles) Of all the things you guys may now about Australia, theres one thing you have to realise, its big.

The "Old" Pacific highway is a stretch of road that was replaced by a Freeway, it used to be the main road till then & indeed has great views of water, but its the mouth of a big river that the old road passes over, but you won't be looking at the views unless you want to have an off, or if you stop to look. The rest of the the Pacific does indeed pass by some great ocean views.
