my bad memorial day
Again, i think the most important gear is gloves and helmet. I need my hands and head.....with that said my buddy was stuntin on his 99 900RR(which we do have on video). Wearing a good thick pair of jeans, leather boots, leather jacket, gloves, and helmet he lost it. Guess what his gear did for him? Broken ankle (again was wearing 10" all leather boots), a 1" cut on that same leg above the ankle, took a chunk out his right knee cap as well which was deeper than urs(was at the hospital when they were cleanin it out-the yellin and cursin expressed his pain), and im pretty sure he broke a finger or some sh*t. he pretty much lacked road rash (i have had road rash on my waist, back, and elbows and its not that bad), i think i would have taken road rash over the previous injuries.......all im sayin is u can gear up as much as possible and still fall off the deep end......its like a seat belt, it more than likely will save ur life but it could also take it.....
