Id say the mustang has the advantage as long as the driver know's what he is doing.

My stang runs 12.2@119 all day long when i run it. I let my best friend take it down the track and he ran a 14.0, then a 13.6 and that was the best he could get. It amazed me because I thought his driving/shifting was as good as mine.

BTW i love the all white 99

here is my beater

its currently in pieces. I tore off the stock GT sideskirts and sold off the Cobra rear bumper i just bought so i could finish off the saleen kit which i think looks 100 times cleaner. I also pulled the motor and tranny to rebuild the 347 for some low compression which will be awaiting some boost if all goes right. STS has a slick twin turbo kit that is looking pretty good on paper but i can get a cartech single turbo setup for almost half what STS wants and its much less work to install but thats a little while down the road. I want to get it back together and running for the summer so i can get the brakes and 5 lug done. the stuff has been sitting in the garage for 2 years now just waiting on me to find the wheels i want LOL

you had a 2.3 turbo notch ehhh, were you on turboford.org?? I had a 91 that i dropped a 88 turbocoupe motor in but i wrecked it 3 times and decided it was trying to kill me so i fixed and sold it, then bought a 86 Turbocoupe for 700 bux did quite a bit to it and then had to get rid of it cuz i needed a better DD that was snow worthy LOL and 18pounds of boost aint fun on wet or snowy roads so i went with a 98 Jeep Cherokee.

Yes I was on turboford.org, but eventually got kicked out by that Caroth dude, he was an *******, if I ever see him in Carlisle, I'll bust his teeth in. Turbomustangs.com ( Turboforums.com) is where I spend most of the time, much better guys overthere, not as much drama.
