I was just at the bmv today watching people take the test and talking to a motorcycle state patrol man. Umm to me the test looks a little hard but that cause I took the course that awards you with an endorsement. You could go up there one day and just watch others take the test then practice in a parking lot and decide which bike to use.

I took my written and riding test through the MSF course so that was sweet... the only thing I can say would be that the smaller bike would be easier to handle and throw around in the box for counter weight... I ended up putting my foot down during the test and still passed. If you drop it you're done, so if you need to put your foot down, it's not going to fail you as long as you do well with the other stuff. Just go relaxed and enjoy it, you'll be fine.

I went though the Motorcycle Safty Course and took mine on a 125 Suzuki DR! What a hoot! I felt like a Shriner the whole time! LOL

Definately take the bike you're most comfortable on. The Shadow has the advantage of a lower center of mass which will help you in the boxbut it's easily doable on the F2 if youpractice and feel comfortablewith it.

Good luck!!!

Well passed the test...hardly. I thought that I was comfortable with the shadow but at the testquickly found out I wasn't and it rained a little on my way there and back. Ah well, back on my bike today and feel back at home. Thanks for the support .
