Default Motorcycle stands

I have an F2 if it makes a difference. But i need to get my front tire off the fround to do some work. I only have one stand for the rear but for 11 bucks i can get an adapter to make it hold thr front. I also have no middle stank other than the kickstand.

My question is can i use my one stand to lift the front tire or will it cause the bike to fall? Thanks

11 bucks sounds cheap to me but if it works, it works. I strongly recommand using a rear stand first then put on the front. You dont want to lift the by just the front. You run the risk of the bike falling due to uneven weight distro.

I dont know about the front but i use only my rear stand all the tie to clean my chain and other little things. Figure it would be the same for the front, im also thinking of picking up the adapter for the front.

Yup...save yourself $$ and spend the cash for a front stand. Bike falls = damage = more money.

Do you have a garage to work in?? Before I got my front stand, I used to put the bike on the rear stand to keep it stable, then I bolted two BIG azz eyebolts through one of the beams in my garage roof, about 14" apart. Then just get two ratchet straps and hook one end under your triple and the other end to the eyebolt then ratchet the front up off the ground.

Worked like a charm when I had no other option to get the forks serviced.

Ya i think ill get another stand from harbor freight. They have the stand and adapters for 50 bucks. The garage idea sounds good but sadly i dont have a garage. Maybe i can rig it to a car port? lol JK that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Thanks for all the help though.
