Default Motorcycle stands

What is the best, most reliable brand out there or the best to buy? I have a $6500 sitting on them, want to be sure they are going to hold up.

Pit Bull`s are probably the best, but quite spendy. I got a set of T-Rex` off ebay cheap (front and back) and they seem to work fine.

Pit bull and vortex are good brands i have a vortex and i love it. Dont know if pitbull is same but vortex has a movable handle that makes it much easier to do when alone.

I've had Pitbull stands for a long time and keep my bike on the rear stand everyday. If I have to buy more stands it'll be Pitbull again.

I have the T-Rex ones off of ebay as well. I bought them before their price went up, but their quality is great. No problems to date. I don't trust lifting it alone however.

For a headstand that doesn't require fairing removal (07 600RR)
T-Rex, or Pitbull?

I'm definately getting a rear stand, but am debating between a fork, or a head stand for the front (the concept of the headstand seems more stable)

I have no problem doing it alone, front and rear both.

I won't even go there...

But yes, some stands are more cumbersome than others to set up by yourself... I'd recommend having someone "spot your bike" while you practice putting it on the stand and taking it off the stand several times until you feel comfortable ...
