If you want to stay away from "painful" the stay away from deep tissue! my trainer at school used to do that to my neck... like literally all her weight on her elbow on my traps and stuff. hurt like a BITCH when she was doing it, but afterwords was AWESOME, all loose and pain free

 

Yea deep tissue is not just for your run of the mill, a bit sore massage. Whats your issues, back, pain, discomfort, or just a bit stiff and sore?
