Let me start by saying that I am at fault for this too...

I basically never spend time in the New Member Area. I happen to accidentally click there today and... it was like a desert. A few new members were around, but most of them didn't have any "welcome to the forum" from anyone.

I just thought I would voice my opinion and state that I think we should all try to make all of the new members feel a little more welcome. I know this is a great forum, but they don't know that (yet) and first impressions can be lasting ones.

I welcomed several just a little while ago. I know how they feel it was pulling teeth to get one reply.

Good point Onarom, i know i am the "official greeter" in the 954 section but i never go to the new section. I will make that a concious effort to go there now and then. Thanks.
