Default How would this make you feel

A guy at my work was asking me about my bike today. Then he says, "I bought a bike on Saturday and it got stolen on Sunday." I thought he meant like 10 years ago or something. So I asked him,"Really, what kind of bike did you have." He says, "An '07 Busa." I just about fell on the floor. It had 40 miles on it. The worst thing, since he bought it on Saturday and it got stolen on Sunday, he didn't have insurance on it.

What would someone do with an '07 bike. Would they part it out or try to sell it out of town or something. He asked me but I didn't know what to tell him.

Thats what I was thinking. My dealer wouldn't let me off the lot without insurance. Unless the guy bought it straight up, I would think that any financing institution would require full-coverage before it got signed over.

If it wasn't so big I would say stunt bike, my next best guess is a 1/4 bike or parts bike for another bike the thief owns.[X(]Bastards they should all be *** raped.[:'(]

By the way some states you don't need insurance for your bike.

What did this guy do once he got his bike home? Put in in the front yard for someone to take it off his hands? I feel for the guy but you wouldn't see me buying a new bike and just leave it lying around ( let alone a locked garage) with no insurance. Maybe it's a Canadian thing but when you buy a new vehicle from a dealership you can't take it with insuring it first. They evan drove me to the insurance place and home to get my helmet.

Even if you could ride off the lot without insurance, why would you? ESPECIALLY if you have it financed.

But I think of it like this (being that I believe EVERYTHING happens for a reason)...........his luck might have seemed to run out on him by getting his bike stolen the day after he bought it, but that's MUCH better than having your luck run out on you while riding down the highway at 85 mph.

Maybe, just maybe he's extremely lucky. That's right, I said LUCKY. You never know..........that next ride could have been his last. (oooh, look at me getting all deep with thought, )

But either way, jackasses that steal bikes need to have their ***** removed.
